Target and Scope
WCAG 2.2 Level AA is treated as an improvement target for public news, forms, navigation and newsroom-published documents. This is not an automatic claim of full conformance; testing and remediation remain ongoing.
Keyboard and Focus
We work to provide a skip link to main content, logical tab order, visible focus and controls operable by keyboard.
Contrast, Text and Reflow
We maintain sufficient text/background contrast, reflow at zoom without horizontal loss, larger-text options and clear boundaries between light and dark surfaces.
Images, Video and Documents
The target is alternative text for meaningful images, captions/transcripts for video and accessible or alternate-text formats for important PDFs.
Known Limitations
Older PDFs, external embeds, user-submitted images, live third-party widgets or incomplete source captions may not always be fully accessible. An alternative route may be requested when such a limitation is found.
Testing and Review
Core templates are periodically reviewed for keyboard-only use, focus visibility, contrast, zoom/reflow, labels, headings and screen-reader semantics; major design changes require retesting.
Alternative Formats and Assistance
If a page, form, video or document is difficult to access, contact us with the URL, device/browser, problem and requested alternate format. Sensitive medical details are not required.
Feedback and Escalation
An accessibility issue may be sent through general contact. If unresolved, choose “Accessibility” in the formal grievance form and include the same URL and earlier reference.
