This policy explains how Digital Saboot News separates advertising, sponsorship, branded content, affiliate links and commercial partnerships from editorial news.
Paid, Sponsored, Advertisement, Partner Content or an equivalent clear label will be used. Advertising will not be presented as a newsroom headline, byline or ordinary report.
Advertisers do not receive approval or veto rights over ordinary story selection, investigative conclusions, headlines, corrections, fact-check ratings or published criticism.
Where practicable, advertising communication and editorial decisions are handled under separate responsibilities. A commercial discussion does not guarantee coverage.
The advertiser is responsible for the accuracy and substantiation of product, service, price, offer, licence, testimonial and performance claims. The newsroom may request proof or reject clearly misleading claims.
Advertising for unlawful goods or services, fraud, impersonation, counterfeit goods, hate, sexual exploitation, malware, unauthorised surveillance, dangerous misinformation, deceptive investment promises, tobacco/nicotine, illegal gambling or clear public-safety risks will not be accepted.
Political or election-related advertising may be considered only when consistent with applicable law, platform capability, identity verification and clear sponsor disclosure. Editorial endorsement is a separate matter.
Targeting or creative that exploits children, victims, financial distress, health fears or sensitive identities will not be accepted.
Advertising or measurement scripts load only when configured and consistent with visitor consent. An advertiser or ad provider may operate under its own privacy policy, with relevant disclosures provided on the appropriate page.
Sponsored articles or videos will carry a clear label. Sponsor involvement, material connection and, where relevant, the limits of content approval will be disclosed.
Where a link or purchase may generate commission, the commercial relationship will be clearly disclosed. Affiliate revenue does not guarantee an editorial recommendation.
Advertising may be paused, rejected or removed for policy violations, misleading claims, legal notices, security risks, payment issues or potential public harm.
An advertisement or disclosure may be updated when an incorrect price, link, label or material claim is identified. Related editorial coverage will not automatically change.
A complaint about misleading, inappropriate or incorrectly labelled advertising may be submitted through the Contact or Grievance page with the URL, screenshot, date and reason.
